Fishing has always been a massive passion of mine. I love everything about it, from being out on the beach and enjoying the sea to the excitement of not knowing what might take the bait next. For me, fishing isn't just a hobby; it's about learning new techniques, challenging myself, meeting other anglers and constantly improving my skills.
One of my biggest achievements has been representing England in fishing and competing in the Home Nations, where I was lucky enough to help bring home a gold medal. Representing my country is something I'm incredibly proud of, and it's motivated me to keep pushing myself, gaining experience and becoming a better angler.
I enjoy targeting all sorts of species, but one of my favourite fish to catch is the garfish. I particularly enjoy using a long urethral rig to present my bait further out and target these amazing fish. I love experimenting with different rigs, baits and fishing techniques to work out what catches the most fish in different conditions.
Whether I'm fishing a competition, targeting a personal best or simply spending a day by the sea, there's nothing quite like the feeling of being on the water. Fishing has taught me patience, determination and the importance of never giving up. My goal is to keep developing as an angler, represent England with pride and inspire other young anglers to get involved in the sport.
